If you are like me, you learned to fly and put a lot of hours in on a trainer aircraft, like the tried and true C152 or C172. However, you are looking to stepping up to something that will truly carry 4 adults, all your camping gear, and still carries enough fuel to get you there fast(er). The C210/T210 is a wonderful airplane that has a good useful load, flies above the weather, and handles great in cruise and in the pattern. Because of my needs, I have owned a T210 for 5 years, and love flying it every chance I get. Along the way, I have learned, studied, and experienced many of the unique aspects of the Cessna 210. As part of the transition training, we will review the normal area of operations with a airplane that flies faster, higher, and heavier than other airplanes you may be used to. We will also focus on some of the unique things that will help you in your 210 flying.
C210/T210 Transition Areas:
- Normal Areas of Operation (Maneuvers, Takeoff/Landings, etc)
- Gear Operation (Engine Driven and Electric Pump)
- MAP/RPM Settings For Cooler Engine Operation
- Climb/Decent
- Vapor Lock Explanations/Procedures
- Hot Start Procedures
- Turbo Operations
